Look around yourself, darling,
What do you choose to see?
And in your state of mind,
Do you see anything important?

Do you know who loves you,
Who respects you,
Who cares for you,
And anyone else who knows you?

Can you look at a person,
And know they are indifferent,
Towards you, me or anyone,
That they don’t know?

Look good and hard,
Then come back to me with the answer,
And I’ll see your perspective,
Through your judgement.
